Bang Saray is a famous fishing village in Chonburi. Everyday there are many visitors looking for either fresh or dried seafood with low price. Restaurants along Bang Saray Beach are also famous for seafood dishes. On the south part of Bang Saray, there is also a fishing place as the level of the sea is deep enough. Not surprisingly, Bang Saray is an alternatively interesting place for tourists. The location of Bang Saray is not so far from Pattaya City, just about 25 Kilometers.

At jetties of Bang Saray there are many fishing boats parked together every day. On the left hand side of the jetties it is the Bang Saray Village, where as Bang Saray Beach and a number of beach restaurants are located on the right. Seafood dishes at Bang Saray are very cheap and tasty because the chefs use fresh seafood from the jetties to cook such dishes.

Although the beach sand of Bang Saray is not so white as many other attractions, it is an interesting place for those who are looking for a quiet beach. There is a beach road that visitors can park their vehicles and go picnic under the trees. Visitors are allowed to go swimming at the beach, and there are also seafood sellers on the shacks beside the beach.

Apart from the restaurants and the beach, visitors usually go to Bang Saray to hire a boat to go fishing in the area of Kham Promontory, which is south estuary of Bang Saray, near Kram Island. There are a lot of fish in that area. Another thing is that some group of visitors hires boats for scuba diving to see coral reefs at that area.

To go to Bang Saray from Pattaya City, visitors need to go on the Sukhumvit Road. After approximately 4 kilometers passed the byway to go Wat Yansangwararam, look for a notice sign for Bang Saray, and after turn right for 1.5 kilometers, visitors will arrive in Bang Saray. Visitors who do not have a private vehicle should go there by hiring a Song Thaew or metered taxi.
