Wat Yansangwararam

Wat Yansangwararam is a well-known temple in the area of Banglamung Mountain. Visitor can see a fascinating view from the temple to Pattaya City. The temple was established in order to celebrate the King of Thailand. In this attraction, visitor can find a number of fascinating things such as pagodas from mixed Thai-India art style, and so on. Everyday, there are lots of tourists visiting Wat Yansangwararam. Its location is outside of Pattaya city, but it's not too far to visit. In 1977, Khun Kajorn and Khun Nithewvadee Aontrakarn offered a territory, approximately 100 Rai, to Somdet Pra Yarnsangworn for establishing temple named Yansarnworn. During establishing the temple, Khun Nithewvadee and Khun Suarree Aontrakarn also offered another 366 toward the king of Thailand, where it was utilized to be the area for this temple as well. There are also interesting pavilion halls which are modeled by architecture from different nationalities. There are 7 of the pavilion halls around the reservoir, Lanna-Thai Style, Central Thailand Style, Singapore-Chinese Style, Chainese-Thai Style, India, Japanese Style, and Switzerland. Each of the halls has an image of dragon playing the water, where it means that kindness of the king of Thailand are spreading towards every Thai people. This area is beautiful and suitable for relaxation. Wat Yansangwararam is believed to be the heaven for those who love to meditate and practice it sincerely. Wat Yansangwararam also offers different meditation courses for common men. The meditation classes are held from 6.00 till 18.00 hrs. The location of Wat Yansangwararam is in Jomtien Area. Visitors need to drive along Sukhumvit Road from Pattaya City to Sattahip. After passing Ban Ampher a little, visitors will see a notice sign indicating that Wat Yansangwararam is on the left hand side. After turning left, go ahead for about 5 Km, and you then will be the temple area. Visitors who do not have private vehicle can go there by hiring a taxi or Song Thaew.
